Fall Piano Recital

Yesterday was the kids' Fall piano recital (or peano risitul -- as Annie creatively spells it). Miss Cindy, the kids' teacher, has reduced the number of students she has down to about 10, now. She and her husband run a camp in Prescott and that takes up most of her time. Jay, Michael, and Annie feel lucky to be 3 of the 10 remaining students! Three of her students live in Belgium and another, our friend Mark, was out of town, so only 6 students performed yesterday, from only two families. The kids each got to play at least 2 songs for this recital, which made it a very fun experience for them. I was very proud of their composure and concentration!

Wow! All three of them were so very expressive in their playing. I'm also impressed at the memorization. I know how hard it is to memorize and then be able to play in a recital performance. I just wish the recital was this Sunday instead of last so that I could have been there in person.
